- 481 Dharma is an American Buddhist meditation group in Lexington, KY. We meet Saturday mornings from 11am till 12:30 pm and Tuesday nighs from 7:15 till 8:45 at the Metta Yoga Studio, 145 Burt Rd, Suite 9. The basis of our practice is Vipassana, or insight, meditation, as found in the Therevada school of Buddhism. While we are grounded is this particular tradition, we draw on the wisdom found in all the other forms of the Buddha's teachings as well. The many branches of Buddhism are combining in this country, forging a truly American, non-sectarian aspect of the Dharma. Anyone who values peace, happiness and freedom is more than welcome to join us.
